Susan Fee began her professional career in the performing
arts. She studied dance since the age of five, and
attended Cornish Institute of the Arts in Seattle, WA.
While teaching ballet, she also performed and choreographed
musicals in the Seattle area. Susan's interest in the
arts continues today, and her early training in creativity
is evident in all her endeavors.
However,
being cast in the role of starving artist was not what
she had in mind for a lifelong goal! After traveling
extensively, Susan graduated from Western Washington
University with a degree in communications in 1987.
She worked in radio and television, as a journalist,
talk show host, and DJ. She also became a sought after
speaker, detailing the behind-the-scenes escapades of
the media spotlight.
It
didn't take Susan long to figure out who was making
the real money in media - advertising executives. She
moved into radio sales with the goal of understanding
marketing inside and out. Part of her strategy was
to work closely with business owners, cultivating first-hand
knowledge of what made their companies tick. This would
later prove invaluable as Susan began training companies
on a national level.
In
1994, Susan applied her knowledge of marketing, media,
and communications to create a popular seminar, Marketing
Yourself to the Top. She was hired by a corporate
training company and took her message on the road.
Her clients included companies like Disney, United Airlines,
and Motorola. At the same time, she developed a thriving
freelance writing business.
Today
she is a licensed professional counselor, speaker, coach and author. She continues to
explore new and diverse ways to use her talents, and
encourages her clients to do the same.
